What is favotools?

favotools is a collection of fast, no‑login tools for text, documents, images, video, and SEO. Many tools are free forever; others use tokens (for AI/heavier workloads). You can also upgrade to Premium for unlimited access and no ads.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use all "Free forever" tools without an account. For token‑based and Premium features, you can sign up or sign in via Sign up and manage your account on the Profile page.

How do tokens work?

Free users receive 300 tokens per day to try AI‑powered tools. Tokens reset daily (no rollover). Each tokenized tool shows a clear 🪙 Cost per run so you know before you click.

What's included with Premium?

Premium unlocks unlimited usage and access to all "Premium‑only" tools, removes ads, and lifts rate limits. It's perfect for freelancers, teams, and power users. You can subscribe on the Premium page via secure checkout (powered by Stripe), and manage or cancel anytime in your account.

What happens when I run out of tokens?

You can either wait until your daily tokens reset or upgrade to Premium for unlimited use. Some tools, especially heavy AI/compute tasks, intentionally cost more tokens to encourage fair usage.

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is $9.99/month. You'll find the latest pricing and details on the Premium page.

Where do ads appear?

For free/anonymous users, a top banner ad appears beneath the navigation, and we may add optional in‑content/footer placements on tool pages. Premium users never see ads.

Who serves the ads?

We use Google AdSense for baseline monetization. For high‑value developer pages, we may also use EthicalAds or (if approved) Carbon Ads for clean, relevant sponsors.

What about privacy and consent?

We provide a consent banner for GDPR/CCPA. By default, ads are served as non‑personalized unless you opt in. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and your rights.

Where can I see the cost of a tool?

On each tool page, you'll see a small badge that shows the token cost per run (e.g., 🪙 Costs 15 tokens per run). Free tools show "Free forever".

Where do I see my token balance?

Your current token balance appears in the top navigation when you're signed in, and updates automatically after each run. We also display a low‑token reminder ("Only 75 tokens left") to help you plan usage or upgrade to Premium.

What content is free, token‑based, or Premium?

Visit the Tools page and toggle "Free only" to see all free tools. Token‑based tools clearly show their cost per run. Premium‑only tools are labeled as such and require a subscription.

Do you store my files?

Most tools run client‑side in your browser and do not upload files. For tools that require temporary uploads (e.g., PDF → QR Link), we store files ephemerally only to generate links and then clean them up. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Go to your Profile and click Manage subscription. You can update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel anytime.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are handled on a case‑by‑case basis. If something went wrong, contact us and we'll make it right.
